Marina Leshchinskaya is a registered nurse providing patient services at the Skin Secrets Medical Clinic. Marina is a native of Russia and graduated from the Medical University in 1988. Following graduation she worked as a Physician at a clinic in Saratov, Russia for 10 years. Upon her arrival in America in 1998, her goal was to continue working with patients and improving their health and happiness. Working in the field of aesthetic medicine has given her the chance to fulfill this goal. As a registered nurse, every day she continues applying her knowledge to improve patients’ lives. In the last 10 years she has worked in several medical clinics. She has known Dr. McLaren for the last 7 years and together opened the first aesthetic medical spa for University Physicians at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center clinic in Park Meadows. She continues to enjoy teaming with Dr. McLaren to promote patient awareness of healthy skin regimens to maintain beauty for years to come. She has over 25 years of experience in the medical field, with her last 10 years devoted to gaining expertise in the field of aesthetic and anti-aging medicine. She specializes in advanced dermal filler and Botox procedures plus chemical peel procedures to treat a vast array skin types and conditions, including dark skin types and acne. She also specializes in laser medicine and has extensive experience using the latest, state of the art aesthetic lasers for anti-aging and general skin health procedures as well as hair removal lasers. |

Laura’s personal philosophy concerning skin care is that it is important to give each client her undivided attention during their entire treatment. Her passion dictates that every moment is for her client. She also knows how important it is to be completely honest with her clients as to their recommended treatment plan. She never wants to perform a service for her patients that would not provide maximum benefit to them. She strives to make every patient feel confident in her care.
Laura has been a licensed aesthetician since 2001 and has gained proficiency in all aspects of skin care which includes various types of problem skin conditions. These services include the basics like microdermabrasions and facials but having previously been part-owner of a skin care clinic, she was also able to become equally proficient in numerous laser based treatments. One of Laura’s joys is working with patients that have acne problems. She has come to realize that this is the one of the most challenging of all skin problems and requires consistency and great care to treat. She works very closely with her acneic patients to insure they follow the proper regimen when away from the clinic in order to properly resolve their condition. |
